Blacktown Family Medical Centre has been operating since 2007 with an amalgamation of patients and practice from Dr Altan Capa (Auburn), Dr Montana Ducic (Kellyville), Dr Hemant Kumar (Parramatta), Dr Anoma Bandara (Blacktown), Dr Bernadette Dulawan (Prospect), Dr Maria Kamal (Rouse Hill) and Dr Vidya Shetty (Parramatta).

Dr Capa has worked in general practice for 20 years in Sydney.
He has interest in men’s health and internal medicine.

Dr Anoma Bandra

Dr Bandara has been practicing for 26 years in general medicine with interest in Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Opthalmology. She has been working in Blacktown hospital emergency department for the last 10 years.
Dr Maria Kamal
MBBS, AMC, FRACGP
Dr Maria joined Blacktown Family Medical Centre with over 14 yrs experience in General Practice and hospital Work. Dr Maria is a graduate of University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1999. After graduating, she started her internship and later registrar ship in Paediatrics in Sudan, where she successfully obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Paediatricians (UK) (Part 1). In 2007 she sat her AMC exams and ranked second over all the examinees all over the world. In 2011 she was awarded the Fellowship of the RACGP. She has special interest in Paediatrics, women's health, chronic dis management as well as Mental health, she is also fluent in the Arabic language.
Dr Sunandan Biswas
MBBS FRACGP, Diploma Child Health
Dr Biswas completed a Masters in Public Health from Sydney University. After passing his AMC exam, he started internship and residency at Westmead, Blacktown-Mt Druitt and Auburn Hospital. He was a physician trainee at Nepean hospital for three years. He gained valuable experience in internal medicine (cardiology, respiratory, neurology, haematology, gastroenterology and geriatrics) while working at Nepean hospital during that period. He also worked as a career medical officer in geriatric medicine for two years. Dr Biswas became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General practitioner after two years of training with GP Synergy in 2019.
Dr Biswas has keen interest in skin cancer medicine. During his GP training, he worked in rural general practice with skin cancer clinics. He has an advanced certificate in skin cancer medicine. He has wide experience in managing complex and chronic medical conditions. He feels confident and comfortable managing patients with multiple medical issues.
He also completed a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from University of Sydney.
Apart from English, Dr Biswas can speak and communicate in Bangla and Hindi.
