X-Ray is available for patients onsite on level 1 for instant x-ray images of the limbs and chest which can be view by GP once x-rays have been taken. All x-ray’s are bulk billed with a valid medicare card.
All general x-ray, screening and OPG procedures are performed using the latest in digital technology. Films are processed with Computed Radiography systems eliminating environmentally unfriendly chemicals.
Other Services provided by the radiologist such as CT scan, biopsy, mammogram, barium enema, DEXA, Biopsy, Ultrasound, Nuchal Transluceny.
Ultrasound facility is now available for our patients at Blackown Family Medical Centre.

General Surgery is a specialty that focuses on the surgical treatment of abdominal organs (such as the intestines, oesophagus, stomach, colon, liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts), skin and soft tissue, and endocrine organs. General Surgery also includes breast surgery, transplantation, emergency and trauma surgery, head and neck surgery, vascular surgery, and surgical oncology.
Dr Alsnih is available on Mondays and Wednesday at the practice.

Dr Shankarpani is a visiting specialist. She is a Specialist Physician at the Liverpool Hospital and currently working as a staff specialist in General and Acute care medicine (GACM) and Ambulatory care/HITH services. She also provides consultative services and has admission privileges at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital. As an Internal medicine physician, her work covers a broad spectrum of illness including the management of heart, lung, endocrine as well as chronic illness and degenerative illness, Dr Shankarpani provides complex wound management including diabetic foot infections, chronic vascular insufficiency ulcers, and post-operative wound care. She also has special interest in providing perioperative care to surgical patients including pre-operative assessment, management of intraoperative and post-operative medical problems.

Katherine Baqleh (BAMedSci, MNutrDiet) is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD). She graduated from a Bachelor of Medical Science followed by a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney. Working with the doctors and allied health team at Blacktown Family Medical Centre, she strives to help individuals with improving and optimising their health through making dietary and lifestyle adjustments with the ultimate goal of long term good health. Many individuals find knowing what to eat difficult, however it does not have to be that way. Katherine is experienced in areas such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovacular health, poor growth, gastrointestinal disorders, PCOS, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and can help you to find a balance with eating well and still enjoying your favourite foods. She also speaks Arabic and has a particular keen interest in weight management, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
She works on Saturdays 9am to 5pm.
